Macca outshone everyone on display. Cairney was superb as was Quinn. Koren and Boyd looked in a different league. Sadly not the premiership ( or the championship for that matter) Keeper looked solid.

Wat a load of **** that was. Ferriby all over em second half. Brady really poor fr their goal. Prozzy is built like a bottle of sterry milk. No power in his upper body. May only be ferriby but its not good enough, we started well but didn't come out second half.
I'm not sure what you were expecting from a friendly against lower opposition. Perhaps a 5-4 affair with red cards, penalties and full blooded tackles? This is the first fixture they've played since the end of last season, give them a break. Ferriby are a much better side than people give them credit for and yeah, perhaps we allowed them to test us a bit easier than we should've, but come on, today was a fitness exercise, it wasn't a forecast of the season.

I expect a premiership team to show their superior ability, simple as. Quinn and Brady looked good first half, their centre forward could teach prozzy how to lose your man in the box to score a header rather than stand next to him all the time. TC for ****s sake been a big supporter of him but sadly no get rid flatters to deceive. A lot of the problems from last season are still ther so I. Not commenting on just this match. Dominant CM and CF desperately needed.
We won the game 3-1 without even trying and without a full side out. I still don't understand, if you aren't commenting on this match, then which other preseason game are you referring to? Did you think we were going to roll over Ferriby like they weren't even there? This is a friendly between two clubs who have a beneficial relationship. 3-1 is a respectable scoreline for both sides; if we had flattened them 10-1, you might have been happy but it would have humiliated the Ferriby players, staff and support while totally ****ting on the occasion. But at 3-1, they got a goal (not saying we let them score), put in a great performance and can take heart from playing in a competitive fixture with a PL side. We're playing for a memorial trophy and the money goes towards helping a local club, one that hasn't got anywhere near as much money as us. I expect you'll see the play you crave when we play Braga/Wednesday/Dresden/any of the other sides we're due to face in pre season. All that and Brucey probably told them to take it as a warm up game, so nobody really gave a **** anyway.
