Surely that just proves Style's point about how interested everyone else is in our pre-season. Haven't heard anything about Mourinho or Pellegrini's pre season thus far (assuming they have started that is)
Indeed it does I was very surprised to see an article on the main page about our first pre season friendly. Obviously an easy way for opponent fans to try and score banter points but anyone that knows football is aware how meaningless the result is, all about getting match fit to start to with.
Ours hasn't started, don't know about City. I was just disagreeing with NOF that everyone actually watches your games.
Think you guys should get used to it! Did you not expect Moyes's every move/decision/bad result to be jumped on by the press? This is only just the beginning once the season starts they will really start to did their teeth in. Its what the rest of us have to go through every season (no one dared question the great SAF), still I expect United will still be challenging this year, good luck.

not really .. those teams will give it 100% to show off facing a big side, it means alot for them , i was in egypt in a trip some years ago, and I remember ahly of egypt played Barca in a friendly, and everyone was talking about it like it is a world cup final match UTD or other big clubs players will be happier to finish the match without injuries
