Higuain isn't really a player we should be moaning about getting (not saying we're definitely gonna get him) Higuain + £20-25m would equate to about 40-50m depending on how much you think Higuain is worth, I'd be more than happy to take that as a deal for Suarez, a decent enough replacement for Suarez and a nice lump of cash to reinvest too. Win
Not doubting the player, he is a very good striker. However, so is Gomes but we won't be going for him because he doesn't fit. As I said, if BR wanted him (but thought he was out of reach) then fair enough, but don't accept him as a make weight!
Most twitter rumors are MITO As for pretending the offer that isn't is real for the sake of the rumour thread... ...if you rate Higuain then plus 20M+ is fine. If you believe we can get better than him for same price with 20m+ plus left over from Suarez cash only sale to use elsewhere then obviously we should say no to the deal. Think everyone will be saying no to Higuain and 5-10 mill though...
We wouldn't go for Gomez because he's recently signed for Florentenia But I know what you mean, however who is available for us to bu that is a prolific goal scorer and is in the Brendan Rodgers mould?
