Exactly how you suggest that Adel isn't mentally aware on a football pitch is beyond me Queens ... its been the case that for QPR that our other players haven't been good enough for his game ... He goes pass people easily and is very strong and pass the ball at speed with the outside of either foot 50 yards. His game is his own which is the problem to many. I am only interested in football and he is one of the best i have ever seen. His reading of any game is world class ... he is a knob off the pitch and is currently being mis managed by real twat.

Gruff no point in crying over old stuff he could of worked another way ... he stayed with us and if he had of gone then maybe he would be worth 50 million by now ... no doubt he could be.

QPR at the moment simply don't deserve him ... I wish him well

Is that right mate, then go on. Im sure your son can trap a ball and nuts players..does that make him a star ?
The point I'm trying to make is that there are a lot of talented players out there who have failed for the same reason as Adel. They havent got the mental capacity to play the game. They believe thier own hype and think they are better than they actually are ...Step up ADEL
If he could get his head right I dont doubt he would end up at Man Utd or Barca or all these other top clubs, but facts are & he's proven that he just cant do it

I'd love you to comment mate because at the moment you are taking the easy cowards way out by pretending you have a point, when really you have been exposed. Funny how you go quiet when others from other clubs agree isnt it?

If not, you just kid yourself that you are right mate...carry on <ok>

I have been one of Adel's biggest fans but I just think it is time people wake up and smell the coffee, he is a very creative player and will tear the championship apart but his attitude stinks. I mean as good as I am at my job if I didn't follow the rules set out I would get the warnings and then I'd be sacked, so what is different? he turns up late has rows with the manager and is just being a pain in the arse, so what do some of you want? to put him in the team get real, I do not want him in the squad let alone the starting line up until his attitude changes, if that happens I will again be part of the love in, but WHY are we not supporting the manager and letting him get the team right and the bad eggs out even, if it mean losing one the most exciting players we have had for a generation, NO ONE PLAYER IS BIGGER THAN THE CLUB, now can we have some common sense in all this madness that has become the Fernandez era.

I agree. I have also been a keen supported of Adel and his natural talent is undoubted but his attitude of a 5 year old is just disruptive and if we get a suitable offer we have to let him go.

I think Adel is a fantastic player and by far the best player we have.

In this instance, I have openly criticised him for his behaviour and attitude.

I will not criticise him as a player and I think we BADLY need him to be firing on all cylinders this season. Without him, we are virtually nothing.

I think he is desperate to get away. Personally, I hope he stays and proves people wrong.

Adel was indulged by Warnock, as he freely admits, and what amazing performances he got out of him. Hughes understandably would not put up with his tantrums and nor would his new colleagues. The problem is, to get the most out of Adel, you have to give him a free role and fit the rest of the team around him. Neither Hughes nor Redknapp were prepared to do that. Reluctantly, I would say it's time for him to go.

Of course you're right but I'll still be heartbroken if he goes.

I agree about the fact that no player is bigger than the club.

Like many I fear our lack of creativity if Adel leaves, however, there is no case for his continuous insolent behaviour both on and off the pitch. If he doesn't want to play by the manager's rules then put in a transfer request, end of.

I do think that with the right motivation Adel can continue to be a club favourite, maybe the task is as much Harry's as it is Adel's to get the best out of him. NW managed to inspire him during his tenure even though again he was a bit of a handful at times. I'm just not sure Harry is able to manage Adel and probably takes a simple approach of "do what I say or **** off"

Clearly, with the right motivation we know what Adel can do, I would like someone like Clint Hill take Adel on as a personal mentor of how to conduct yourself on and off the pitch.

It is hard to argue with the OP's common sense argument, except for a few things. It is a rare treat to watch a player capable of the things he can do, and whilst there's been less evidence of it over the last couple of years, we've all seen it, we know he can do it, and I still feel he can do it at the highest level, circumstances allowing.

Attitude wise, there have been many who show no emotion of late, at least adel shows passion, even if it is in the form of tantrums. Equally, he is capable of outstanding attitude. I'm referring to the adel that astonished the crowd in our promotion season vs hull, when he tracked back and made a defensive tackle, and to the adel who came on at home to west ham last term and was on fire and scored a stunner.

But you're right, no player is bigger than the club, but maybe in these times of few heroes, we just want the door to the adel we know is there somewhere to be unlocked.

Well said. Tarbs is a very special talent who we are lucky to have had, that's why we're maybe we're more forgiving of his transgressions than we are of others. The same I'm sure will have been said of Marsh and Bowles.

The question of should one player be bigger than the club is a fair one but that means it's a straight call.

Is the team likely to finish higher with Adel, tantrums and all, or is a unified team without him a better choice?

For me it is the former and the onus is on Harry to do what his predecessors managed and get the best out of him by convincing him that it's in his best interests to do so, the adulation he can still attain and the pure enjoyment he can derive from a great performance (which are all big factors for him).

Adel now thinks he is to big for the Championship, his billy big bollocks attitude will cause more problems than he is worth, i have loved watching him play but fear he will be just another player that wastes his talent, i hope he gets his move to France and turns into the top talent he should be. but sadly i doubt it.
