1) What a tool you are, you criticise me for using personal insults then go on to call me a blinkered idiot several times, cracking logic. When did I last spit my dummy out? I believe I called you up on being pretentious bell end who constantly tries to be funny and miserably fails each time, had nothing to do with the clubs we support, I just think you're a bit of a twat. 2) Chelsea did fine them, because it was inappropriate and disrespectful behaviour, and it reflected badly on the club - not for hurling abuse at Americans regarding 9/11. I have not once said they didn't do anything wrong, it was disrespectful and very insensitive, but they didn't do what you said they did. They were pissed up and unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time. 3) You found three images which carry no point at all, you said he runs halfway up the field to shout at referees like Roy Keane, your pictures show nothing of the sort. And two videos of him, one of which he wasn't doing the thing you've accused him of, ****ing priceless! Are you really saying these five things merit being called a lower form of life? Because if so you must think a few Spurs players are too. 4) What the **** are you babbling on about? You made an attack on Lampard's character and as somebody who has interacted with him I challenged your ridiculous tag by saying he was a nice bloke, which can't be said for a lot of footballers. 5) The point is soaring straight over your over-inflated noggin, I used the 'I've seen him play' line to tell you I hadn't seen him dive or berate referees in all the times I've seen him play, not quite sure what's wrong with that personally. You haven't destroyed a single thing, just produced a load of tripe.
He's not much of a gent in my eyes. Tried hitting on my Auntie in a nightclub on two different nights a few years back when he was with the bird before he got with Bleakley. My Auntie had no idea who he was (only footballer she knows is Beckham) and she said how he was waving his wallet about with wads of £50's and that he was really cocky and sleazy. It was only after the second time of him trying it on that one of her mates told her who he actually was. I've always joked with her that she could've been a lady of leisure and a WAG but jokes aside, the way she described him, sounded like a right typical prick with money, definitely not a gent. I highly doubt she was only the one he's tried hitting on when being in a relationship too. Like others have said, Mellberg seemed a real top guy, especially after his gesture on his last Villa appearance. In fairness, as much as I thought he was a pathetic diver and an actor on the pitch (despite being a great player too), Drogba actually seems a decent bloke with all the stuff he's done back home for the Ivory Coast - Pleaded with rebels to stop fighting, loads of charity work and has paid for a hospital to be built too. Many footballers take their pay cheques and splash it all on flash cars and mansions, it's nice to know that once in a while there are a few that does their bit to help others and Drogba definitely comes into that category, fair play to him . Oh and the video he done on Spurs TV Online where he asks Ade questions is brilliant, just a shame he played for your lot
People don't understand that more often than not the media decide which characters are "nice" and which aren't. Messi is an angel and Ronaldo is the devil. Does anyone know how much Ronaldo does for charity? I'd bet the same amount of people were aware some kids paid $000s for VIP tickets to see him and he didn't show up. If the media like you, you are untouchable, if not then you're screwed. Look at what Barton, Gerrard and Giggs have done then someone explain to me why they don't get half as much vitriol as someone like Ashley Cole or Adebayor?
We could do with the penalties... I touched on this earlier, how is it Balotelli was "a character" (as was Di Canio before him) yet other players aren't. Some players get free passes for obvious reasons - being England captain excused Alan Shearer of any wrongdoing when he kicked/elbowed/studded opposition defenders or for his frequent dives - but there's no reason why Balotelli or Di Canio should have.
100% Rooney was extremely volatile at Balotelli's age, often lashing out at referees and opponents. The line we were fed by British pundits was "Ah, he's only young, he'll grow out of it". Rooney's antics were excused, to the point where they even defending his actions which ended up costing England at the World Cup. Last 2 seasons I had to sit back and watch Shearer and co lambast Balotelli at any given opportunity. Shearer even went as far as to say he's "wasting his career", that's right, a guy that had played in a European Championship final and won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Serie A & Coppa Italia at 22 years old
