Its being reported in the mirror today that Chris is top of the list of managers cardiff want to replace dave Jones.
I dont know what to think as it is clear cardiff are going nowhere forwards. all their best players seem to move away and they very rarely spend any money at all. The fans will get behind him which is a positive but would such a respected and calm manager suit a club with such twats for fans??
    Your thoughts?

West Ham would've been a better job for him. Shame.

Aren't Fulham without a boss now?

He got a rolling contract, but he didn't do enough to trigger the next year of it.

I was under the impression his contract had ended yeah. Not seen anything official but that's as far as I know.

Fulham would be good though <ok>

West Ham wouldve suited him perfectly, they're in a similar situation to what we were in when he took over at St James'. Wouldn't want him to go to Cardiff, as mentioned, they have no money and I can't see them going anywhere fast.

8th place? Are they taking the ****ing piss?

Fulham's downfall is coming very soon I reckon. Hughes gone, ageing players and some lucky points this season. I think their final standing position was a very false representation of their ability.

They must have the oldest squad in the Premier League

A Johnson, Zamora, Baird, S Davies, Hangeland, D Murphy are all key players for them and are 28 and above.

I don't think its just position, I think its home wins, clean sheets etc. that also count towards it.

Still a tall order to fulfil though and I thought they had a decent enough season.

A LOT of their key players are actually 30 or over. There's a few more which are 28 and 29. I'd be very surprised if they aren't the oldest team.

Heard Cardiff wanted Martin O'Neill and think Fulham could be possible for Steve Bruce.
