I hear the club want to give David Burns (Hons) a bit of competition for the #1 spot. He only cost Bologna €2.5m, so he wouldn't break our financial structure. I've always rated him from his days at Cagliari, but I don't think he's done much since. He's only 25, so he has room for improvement. I'm more impressed with this than Bendtner.

Not sure why Sunderland are after him (aside from the manager's nationality) when they have Fletcher, Altidore, Ji, Graham and Wickham. Hmmm, on the contrary I've always thought he was a bit rubbish. He's just a plank and I'd be udnerwhelmed if this was true. Now if we were linked with Ciro Immobile on loan - who I would bet my mortgage on becoming a world star in the Paolo Rossi mould - then I would be excited. He shot to prominance in the national Italian youth cup that every year attracts all the world's best scouts and has since done well at Genoa.
He should try Matri or Quagliarella from Juventus. Both not in their plans for next season and maybe fancy playing in the PL.

Nah Roma. He's not well liked there though, but then again nobody but Totti is, managing Roma is the most impossible job in football. On the first day of pre-season training just gone 200 ultras turned up to abuse the players and pelt their cars. This is BEFORE anything has gone wrong!! And every single training session is shown live on 2 tv stations and covered on a dedicated radio station. Not even Real Madrid have that kind of media intrusion.
