Who are these many players who have turned Utd down? Please name these players who have refused to sign for Utd. But do enlighten us with actual evidence and not some stupid paper talk.

    ***taken off the web***

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/...-make-35m-offer-for-Barcelona-s-Cesc-Fabregas

According to Sky Sports and a whole heap of journos over on Twitter (including that insatiable transfer ****-stirrer supreme, Guilherme Ballague) Manchester United have, in the last hour, lodged a €30million (approx £26million) bid for Cesc Fabregas and are currently waiting to hear back from Barcelona.

Indeed, some sources are also claiming the bid to be to the tune of £35million, so it’s fair to say that no-one’s actually got the slightest clue. Standard fare.

I will ****ing kill myself if Cesc joins United. The thought of them lining up a bid makes me physically sick, never mind the possibility he wants to go there. Please **** off, you put me through enough pain with Robin.

They will not sell him, the just lost one MF player, they will not want to lose another, and French Arse had 1st dibs on him.

They dont have first dibs at all. They have a 50% of any profit hence out £25million bid. mean Barcelona have to give Arsenal nothing.

Plus as I stated in the thread, they are after a defender ( should sign him anytime ) which means they can put Masch back in midfield. they also have some lad named Sergio who is apparently their next big thing.

    they also didnt sell Thiago.

What if we gave them Rooney, would they allow us to go for Fabregas?

So why are all the news reports saying French Arse have 1st dibs on him then?

Because they know **** all about it.

Anyway its seems Arsenal will only have first refusal if Cesc wants to go there, otherwise its 50% of the profit.

Nobody knows but that makes sense, if Cesc doesnt want to finish 4th then he wont go Arsenal.

We do have first dibs on him, we have a £25M buy back clause and a 50% sell on fee but all of that is irrelevant because United won't bid for him unless there is encouragement from the Fabregas camp to do so. I would like to believe he is doing it to see how much Barca really want him and then use that to force a move to Arsenal but sadly I think the thought of linking up with his old mate and being at the center of title winning teams (something he was not part of at Barca) could prove very appealing to him.

Fabregas would be a quality addition to this United Team. The only thing I can see as being a problem is for Moyes to then find out the best formation. It's pretty clear that Kagawa's best position is in the hole, Fabregas operates probably at his best their as well. Could we play with two behind RvP or Rooney and then 2 wide players and then 1 holding midfielder like Carrick? That could leave us very exposed against the counterattack. That said, both Kagawa and Fabregas do move about the pitch quite a bit so maybe it's not too big a deal to play them both.

Fabregas and Carrick can play in midfield together, he played in a 4-4-2 with Flamini before and was exceptional.

Ofcourse he can, but I woun't play a 4-4-2 and leave Kagawa out or shove him out wide. I honestly believe that if we give Kagawa the chance he deserves then he will become a major player for us and that means playing in as an attacking centre mid.

Kagawa could still play off RVP like Hleb did at Arsenal with Adebayor

    Valencia Cesc Carrick Young
    Kagawa
    RVP
