As mentioned on another thread, looks like Hooper deal is off and he's going to Norwich ( dam it ! ) ................ things are getting a bit desperate up front but trying to stay calm and keep the faith with Harold & TF pulling something out of the hat ................... just hope it's not a donkey.

He gave up £250k when the club were in serious financial trouble. Its fair to say hes done more than most players have.

Lee Cook, what a Fulham legend. Understand that Crouch may have 'emotional' ties to the club, but a move to QPR would mean dropping down a division when in reality he really doesn't have to, moving house and relocating his family, and I'd imagine a drop in wages. Seems a lot to ask from someone even if they do hold the club in high regard.

If we start the season with AJ and Zamora as our strike force for the year we're screwed

Hes already said he hasnt ruled it out.

As for starting with the Fulham donkeys, I agree, they are shocking and are a big reason I gave up my ST.

I'll second that, Crouchie has definitely donated money to Q.P.R., as did Sir Les.

Suarez hasn't ruled out a move to Arsenal either, but do you see that happening?

Bloody hell mate!! Your description of Crouchy sounds like the most accurate description of Zamora. Crouch CAN hold the ball up, is much better on the ball than people give him credit for and is at least 10 times as good as that carthorse Zamora. Worth the wages imo as I think he'd score 10-15 goals in the championship with many assists.

Adam Lallana is an Everton fan, and Luke Shaw is a Chelsea fan, both play for Southampton. Struggling to see your point here, unless it's that all football players would give their lives to play for the team they support? Money speaks more volumes.

Not sure you can have "more volumes". Why don't you go away?

Aww <laugh> Where is Northolt? He was much more fun.

And Flyboy, your friend has already corrected you, that was Lee 'Fulham hero' Cook who donated money. Keep up chap.

I seem to remember reading that Crouch donated 10,000 to the club.
