    The only other club serious about signing him are PSG and so far they havn't matched the 12 Mill euros we have offered, so not ruled out completly yet.

    Apparently both Lorient and us have agreed a deal but now it's up to him to make up his mind. Valencia don't want to put more than 7M for a deal so him moving there is very unlikely. So now there's PSG who have joined the race but I doubt there'll be able to match our bid cos there'll be a massive overhaul there this summer (e.g Claude Makalélé and Coupet leaving )and they'll need to spend a lot on the squad .
    But I feel that if he doesn't want to come we shouldn't insist any further and maybe look for someone who'd want to wear the shirt with pride and passion (same goes for Gervinho).

    PSG have just been taking over by a Qatari consortium so i would imagine that money won't be an issue.

    You can't blame the lad for talking up his own credentials and seeing if anyone else comes in but we shouldn't waste time over him, if he doesn't wanna come then find someone who wants to play for the club.

    I'd be offering Chelsea £10mil for Sturridge.

    Yeah but the Qatari's won't be pumping the money this season. Maybe after 2 seasons is what I heard.
