So this is just a dig at Americans, most of whom don't even rate him as much as the Brits who keep tabs on our youths do?
Hopefully. He does look a really good prospect. I'd give him some starts in the Capital one cup, see what he can do.
He's strong as well as quick and skilful, so early signs are that he's got what it takes to survive in English football. The lad's also got a great eye for goal too
One thing about Zelalem is that he is not afraid to ask for the ball, and for a 16 year old that is impressive. In every game I have seen him play, he is always demanding the ball and also seems to always be in space, which is a skill in itself.
It's all well and good having the ball, but he hasn't run the matches when he's had the ball. He doesn't boss the game.
He is a kid, but the early signs are positive in that he knows how to find space and the other things will only come with more games. But he has the right mentality, that's for sure.
