Olof Mellburg buying a kit for every away fan who turned up at his final game for Villa with "Thanks 4 The Support" on the back was remarkably nice of him, given it set him back £40,000.

Peter Schmeichel always came across as a thoroughly good bloke, too.

Probably sounds a bit partisan, but reputedly, Defoe is a nice guy.

    Mellberg for me too.
£40k? Either he got a great deal on shirts (and printing) or there was a low attendance that day

Good call. He owns a private box in the West stand and uses it to give under privileged kids a day out.

    Ruud Van Nistelroy anybody ?

Great goalscorer, but petulant and spiteful ****er who had that annoying 'Who me?' faux innocence when he got pulled up for it.

I didn't know that, mate. Just thought that from what I've heard, and seen, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. Rare in top drawer football.

Our own Benny, his views are one thing, but his support for the local community shops and services with his custom, is well known. A very grounded nice bloke imo.

Or Keown? Purely for that one incident after the penalty miss. You have to be a pretty scummy person to behave like that

    1) they were on a lads holiday you pillock, wasn't the most sensible thing to do but it certainly doesn't merit being called scum <doh><doh>

    2) didn't happen, they were laughing amongst each other and people thought it to be appropriate, stop reading the sun.

    3) the rest of your post is just utter bollocks. Diver <laugh>, it's you who needs to remove the blinkers.

I've met Lamps before and he is a gent, nothing to do with being biased.

I get it, Drogs, really I do - you are unable to disprove anything I said, so you have to resort to personal insults and the boneheaded belief that emoticons are in any way a viable way to make any kind of reasonable argument. That may wash on the shallow end of the gene pool that is the Chelsea board, but that says two things - one thing about the board that the likes of King Ossie64 calls home, and one thing about you.

So my third piece of advice is, after taking my advice on where to stick the blinkers you have removed, is where you can go to when you've done it.

Yes because all my post contained was abuse and emoticons... I called you a pillock ffs, get a grip. Maybe not making pillock-esq comments would help.

Secondly, there is only one thing to disprove really. Number two, and I believe the man (or men rather) himself over any rag this country produces. The rest of your post bar number one, is opinion, and I've watched every single one of Frank's 600 odd appearances for Chelsea and do not once recall him berating the ref 'like Roy Keane', nor do I recall him ever diving. To disprove this, you have to able to prove it first.

Some Spurs fans don't like Frank, I get that. He's one of your rival's all time top goal scorers but lower form of life? Ridiculous. Save it for the likes of Barton, Terry or Suarez. Or seeing as though you consider divers to be lower forms of life, Bale.

Just a tip, when someone calls you a blinkered idiot, trying the "I've seen X play Y times for Z" line doesn't qualify as a rebuttal by any stretch of the imagination, and you annihilate any hope of proving you aren't blinkered when saying you believe his word over anyone else's.

Abusing the Americans the day after 9/11 didn't happen? So why did the club fine him for it?

Never seen Lampard haranguing a referee? So what is he doing in these photos?

Never seen him dive? So what's he doing here?

So, no, it is not "opinion", as when there is evidence to support something it is not an opinion.

You can post all the links you like, I've said my piece on the 9/11 thing and I'll repeat I believe the man himself over any newspaper. Use your loaf eh? I'm not believing him because he's Frank Lampard, I'm believing him because he's the accused and our lovely press have a habbit of moulding fact into complete piss.

I wasn't using the "I've seen him play 600 odd times" as a rebuttal, it was simply me stating that in all of those appearances I've not once seen him berate the ref 'like Roy Keane' (to quote YOU), or dive. Does challenging a referee merit the tag "lower form of life"? Do Spurs players never challenge referees?

Congrats on the videos by the way, finding two clips (one of which ISN'T a dive) of him really makes him an abhorrent ****er doesn't it? And I'll quote you again, 'like Steven Gerrard'. Two clips, very well done. You must see Bale as utter scum then!

    You're clutching at straws, massively.

Oh please, now you're getting embarrassing - then again, you were embarrassing the last time you spat your dummy because I said some home truths about your Chelsea idols. What are you, twelve?

So apparently your club fining Terry, Lampard and Jody Morris (another form of pond life at your club in the Premier League era) isn't proof? Even when several members of club staff, as well as the hotel where it happened, confirmed it to be the case? Christ, you really have left the reservation on that one haven't you?

Yes, I did find proof that Lampard dives and harangues referees. I don't need to be congratulated, because it wasn't remotely difficult to find - it took a second on Google and Youtube respectively, so was hardly unearthing the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Saying that you've met Lampard and he was okay? Well that's obviously going to stand up in court, given the neighbors of Dennis Nilsen and John Wayne Gacy said similar things about those fine, upstanding members of their local community!

And, yes, you are once again confirming that you are a blinkered idiot with your "Wah wah, I watch him play, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" defence that is so utterly idiotic it's no wonder you're using it, as you're a blinkered idiot.

Still, thanks for representing your club in the same way that Wise, Terry, Lampard et al have done so in the Premier League era. It helps my argument, and utterly destroys yours.
