Disagree with the first point as MM seems to have a priority list to work through. Just because we haven't heard about it doesn't mean it isn't there. Fully agree with the second point. One door closes, another one opens.
I can't see a knee-jerk reaction on signings from Malky as a result of the Ince standoff - from what we know of Malky though, I doubt that'll be the case anyway. I know Ince is quality, but given the options we already have in midfield, I can't believe we've not been eyeing/negotiating for some quality defensive players whilst this saga has run. Their acquisition is essential and wouldn't have been dependant upon Ince coming here or not - maybe it will actually free up more money to conclude deals. A quiet signing or two in those positions along the lines of the AC recruitment will do quite nicely.
