Morning everyone, first post on here, hope it finds you all in good fettle.

8.25 Uttoxeter Suburban Bay (NAP) - won with such authority last time with a performance that was a huge step up from anything previously shown, I expect him to shrug the 7lbs aside with disdain. You won't get many better 10/11 shots.

Race of the day looks to be the maiden at Sandown tonight at 8.10 - any number of beautifully bred individuals in this one and Asterism at 12/1 will get a few of my euros each-way.

    Good luck to everyone today.

My one from Cycs thread -

    Hello all,

Not going to lie to you all, I read the forum yesterday and I was pleased to see how good you all are at getting on, so I will just be popping on here when I have something to say about the days racing. No arguing or banter on here from me.

Today I have done a blog post about the second race at Southwell http://nassauboard.blogspot.com/. Anyway my key views are as follows -

"Greatest Dancer has experience on her side, she ran in a Kempton maiden in which she showed enough to suggest that she isn't one to discount here. She ran in a race which those in the rear failed to get into the race, and she couldn't pick up on the wide outside after traveling well enough on her debut. She is an Iffraaj filly which to me is a huge positive as Iffraaj has already had five different winners at the course from his very few runners. I like this one and if she is sharper for her debut I do think she should take a hand in the race. Jamie Osbourne's runners usually take time to get fully wound up to win as juveniles and this one could be fitter for its debut."

She is the bet for me.

    Good luck all

Had a very large bet on RED ALPHA 10/11 3.50 Lingfield, was flying at the finish on debut over 5f, steps up to 6f today and should win with that experence behind him.

How do you do the smileys on here anyone??

Oddy, that race revolves around Mssr Hannon and his runner Marcus Augustus (btw I am really annoyed by all this Holy Roman Emperor naming incorrectly thing - don't get me started).

If this was 12 months ago I would be lumping all my weekly betting fund on it at 5/6 BUT I have a problem with Hannon at the minute, he is having horses that are not improving (some going backwards perhaps) from first run to second, and as such you can't say for certain that this one will improve here. Therefore I would normally look elsewhere for a value bet, but without runners from Fahey, Channon, Johnston et al I think its a tough race to get another handle on.

Red Mischief ran in the race that my Southwell horse debuted in and it ran a lovely race at Lingfield before getting worn down last time. The form of that race isn't as strong as the debut run of Marcus Augustus and he may be battling it out for minor honours once more.

The way the market looks at the minute you can try and pick the best of the rest and bet on the place market but I can't pick between the newcomers and would probably side with the D'Arcy runner for a place

Bucks, the smiley things are usually the same as 606, but if you want more, go to "go advanced" next to PQR.

Oddy, not into the 3 year old maidens, they normally are full of big backwards sorts, but what does interest me is that Frankie is on the longer priced Al Zarooni horse. I wonder if Catty will have a word for one in that race, seems the type of race that he would get a word in.

Refs seems to be being hit with a dos similar to the one that is hitting Ja606. Lets hope its no-one on this site that is doing it!
