    311. We have given ourselves a chance. Great knock from Bell. Come on bowlers!

Hopefully Agar get's the opportunity to get his century in this 2nd innings. Can't wait for his 17 and 15 year old brothers to join him they're supposed to be a touch better than him with bat and ball

The convicts did okay while the collonial influence was still dominant, but since they've had the opportunity to put their own mark on things they've struggled.

If the Poms keep bowling to Watson and Rogers like this, we'll pass the target without a loss of wicket. Cook is a poor Captain

As soon as the ball starts reverse swinging England will nip few out. Swan is starting to do some unpredictable things as well.

Cowan is shocking. Clarke is the big one though. I just can't see any of other Aussies getting a hundred m

They must be better batsman in Australia then Steve Smith and Ed Cowan.

Edit! I forgot about David Warner.

Steve Smith is actually a very good batsman. We have a batsman over there at the moment playing for Surrey I think. Michael Klinger, fantastic batsman and I have no idea why he can't get into the test side. Should have been in ages ago

Ashton Agar was supposed to be our major weapon in the U/19 world cup until he smashed his finger to bits. Exceptional batsman, and technically very correct off spin bowler. Held in high regard in Australia and now the world.

When I've seen Smith hes looked good, but never a really threat of getting a big score.

Agar does look class. It'll be interesting to see where bats in this innings.

Not sure how you can blame Cook at at all, he isn't as adventurous as a McCullum but he is a very good captain he doesn't waste his reviews like some, he tries to build pressure very well, and he allows the bowling unit to bowl to their plans. Also Root decision was genius!

He has a lot of work to do but he is a young captain learning.

Huge wicket. Wouldn't be suprised to see Australia collapse now.

    Edit I think that's it.

It was very amusing at the end of the match when Michael Clarke was interviewed by an Aussie presenter who whined incessantly about the review system (Clarke to his credit didn't).
Considering England were right on the button with their reviews and Australia were miles off you would have thought he wouldn't have had anything to moan about, but I guess the "whinging" title now firmly belongs to the Aussies.

Ive always considered the "whinging pom" thing to be ironic Craigy. Have you got to any of the days btw?

Excellent finish too for tomorrow by the looks of it. Been an excellent test so far.

No I've been at work, but spending all day getting pissed up in blistering sunshine while watching an exciting Ashes match would take some beating. :emoticon-0132-envy:
