Yup we would have had him at the gate and a shed load of money in the Bank but Maynard didn't want to talk to Leicester.
There is no way I can see Rudy signing for you. Youve lost Anderson and Adomah wants out - you look like a club with no ambition. Rudy is good enough for the Championship. You havent the funds or the ambition to sign him.
Just to put it straight for you We wanted to keep Anderson and buy Jay E T but Ipswich didn't want a cash deal they wanted Anderson so that is what happened. Adomah was told by his football association that he would not get picked if he played in L1 so he wants to play for a club that will get him in the eyes of his national selectors again of course we have no ambition that is why we are busy in the transfer market did you take a stupid pill today or is this a sample of your blinding wit or half of it anyway?
Cardiff fans have a different view on "ambition" that includes tearing the heart and soul out of your football club to make it into the promise land
To be fair to Cardiff fans a large proportion of them are worried about where the club is going but when ever they say anything the glory hounds who can't see past the fact that Swansea are not in a division above them any more try and shout them down. Those genuine Cardiff fans I feel sorry for as their club is changing into something none of them recognise of course the muppets won't worry about anything until it is all a pile of ashes then they will be saying well of course we knew it was all going to end in tears and if the rest of you had stood with us against the rape of the club and it's history it wouldn't have happened. You see it happen all over the country Look at Portsmouth some of the loudest mouths boasting about their foreign owners money are the ones moaning the loudest saying we told you it would go wrong. It's the genuine fans who suffer when their clubs are used as rich persons toys to be thrown away as soon as another thrill appears in sight.
Yet with the 6 current signings the team is probably stronger than it was last season and to buy so many players without seeing as many leave shows the club are investing to take the club forward. As for adomah, he wants more money and if u knew anything about the club you would know that his style of football is not what the manager wants to play so likely wouldnt be starting (as shown last season) so we might as well sell and cash in.
Brad Smith Liverpool Academy player is in their U-21 Squad for this year so might want first team football rather depends on how close he is to the Liverpool first team from what I can see is about 4th or 5th choice this year anyway but we don't know whats been said to him about his prospects.
Rudy Gestede I could see more chance of getting him on loan but again it will depend on where he is in the pecking order.
Not that I have noticed they got knocked back by Ince but that doesn't mean they haven't signed a new sweeper to keep the stadium clean.
Cardiff City have today completed the deal to bring Danish striker Andreas Cornelius to the club for a record £8.5m. The 20-year-old completed his medical at the Vale Hotel and has now signed a five year deal. Denmark international Cornelius becomes the Premier League club's first summer signing and will take a holiday before linking up with the squad next week. Before setting off, the seven time capped star told Cardiff City Player: “This is a dream come true for me. “I’ve been given a great opportunity at Cardiff City. “I’m very happy to be here and to be playing for this club in the Premier League. “There were opportunities for me this summer and I had to think about what was the right thing to do, the correct step for me to take in terms of my career.
