What's our club really worth?

Forgetting who owes this and that, in terms of the club's real value, what are we worth?

Fulham have just been bought for between £150m - £200m.

We know that Sky's contract feeds huge handouts to the smallest outfits in the Prem but only as long as they stay there.

So with our own veritable pound note making machine on Barrack Road, we have some protection from dropping out of all the riches in the Premiership.

We must have players worth over £120m I'll take a stab at a value of £340m.

 

Fans, cash flow,potential. £381m

 

It depends.

The club can be worth nothing or everything. If it achieves success with the fanbase it has, it can obtain limitless amounts of cash. But if it's not ran properly, and the fans aren't engaged, then it's going to be worth no more than a mediocre club.

And our club is NOT a mediocre "never mind them" club. I'm not deluded, it's not up there with the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal, but it's a well known club around Europe and it's fanbase is immensely loyal.

What sort of club would only see a drop from 50k avg to 44k in the Championship despite having to pay Champions League prices for season tickets?

Loyal fans.

 

Actually value +Ashley's loan. So a fair amount.

On a related note. Thank god khan hasn't bought us, the man is a lunatic who loves nothing more than self promotion at the expense of the clubs fans. Basically a Pakistani/American Ashley.
