Green, Murphy Hill, Traore, Ferdinand, Simpson, Onuoha, Young, Suk-young Mbia, Faurlin, Derry, Granero, Hoilett, Park, SWP, Mackie, Jenas Zamora, Johnson So no Bosingwa as expected, but yet again no Remy.
as was the case against Exeter That's quite strange, unless he hasn't been too convincing in training
We play games at Exeter & Peterborough whilst........ Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner says he is "privileged" that Turkish champions Galatasaray will be playing a pre-season friendly at Greenhous Meadow. "There's well over £100m worth of players in their squad, and they've established themselves as a real force in European football," Turner said. I guess Peterborough could say something like that about us? We likely couldn't host games since the new pitch at Loftus Road is still under construction? please log in to view this image
He wasnt listed for the Exeter game either. I reckon we might hold out for another 0-0 draw if we play the team judo listed. A 2-7-9-2 is the way to go.
Shame....Really wanted to have a player called Zanusi too...so much fun to be had with his name...wouldn't matter much if he couldn't play
Update on BBC Radio 94.9 > 0-0 game must be almost over - so much for our dynamic strike duo Johnson + Zamora! http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_london Bet365 score update - 5 min to go still 0-0 7-1 odds on QPR or Posh win! ***Update*** Posh just scored 1-0, of course I put $1 on us @ 7/1 2 mins to go > 10/1 odds on us to salvage a draw! ***FINAL SCORE*** We LOST 1-0 useless bloody sods! At least we find out now we can't score goals!
Well I am worried looks like its going to be a long season, after last season we seem to have just carried on with the piss poor attitude and losing mentality, I give Harry till end of September before he walks and Steve Mc takes over.
I listened to some of the match commentary, it sounded a very even game. Peterborough made 10 subs simultaneously at one point in the second half. We're clearly just garbage
Shrewsbury 0 Galatasaray 3 Drogba having his picture taken holding a baby after the game! I wonder what the score would have been if we played them? How is it that my team, even in a friendly game, manage to spoil my weekend! Will watch Nelsen's TFC later who are struggling to get points, throwing games away conceding late goals, e.g. 3-1 up against an in form Montreal team, game ended up 3-3. Just like us. Nelsen must feel right at home.
Seems to set the tone for the start of the season. Cant even muster 1 goal in 3 hours of football against quality opposition such as Exeter and Peterborough. Id love to be proved wrong but can see very little to be optimistic about.
