I would have said yes to him last summer. Now I'm not so sure

I'd be pleased if Dempsey was brought in. Good player.

Dempsey would improve our squad and at this stage of our development that's what we need to do, improve the squad.

Crikey, is there anymore of our players you want? :D

As much as he was poor last season he still popped up with a lot of crucial goals. He scored the Fergie Time equaliser against United, the goal that saw us go 2-1 up against City, 2 against Basel in the second leg, the third against United when we beat them 3-2 at Old Trafford and a goal and assist against Stoke. There are probably some more but the point is even if they're not always the prettiest and he's not playing particularly well he still seems to have that knack of scoring important goals. A step down again(no offence) might do him some good and he might end up playing like he did for Fulham. Personally I think you're better off giving him a miss, playing as an attacking player in the Premier League you either need some pace or great control and Dempsey has neither. You'd be better off paying more for a better player or sticking with what you've got.

Ah yes! Forgot all about him!

He won't be though. 19 years old and isn't with the squad in Italy so don't think he'll feature outside any cup games(if he does feature in any)

    Wouldn't mind Bale ;)

Not much in this link anyway I don't think. Wouldn't be a starter if he did come so no value for him to come here

If Dempsey came in I think Sess would be leaving deffo. We already have a bag load of players and we need to sort out the team. Fullbacks as always are priority now, unless somebody special crops up I hope all SAFC energy is put into getting those fullbacks.

Peruzzi sigining on Tuesday, maybe Cavanda from Lazio will come in as his back up/competition to him.

Think we've turned our attention to lb now. Orban and Mendy were our initial two targets, Orban looks like he's staying in Argentina and Mendy chose Marseille over us. We're now apparently interested in the Frankfurt lb so that will probably signal our switch of attention to lb

Should do at this point mate, Velez have confirmed he's agreed terms.

    Can understand your worries, though!
