Good first half, looking a bit tired towards the end of the first half but that fitness is taking time to build up again obviously. Looking forward to seeing Bony in the second half!
That's what Michu does, he has to get the hate running high to get his game flowing, he is one of those all or nothing players isn't he? His character off the field is as placid as you can get, michu plays at his best when angry so I think he is just getting himself into the game.
I hope we don't see Bony in place of Michu - I'm sure our starting lineup in the PL will be both of them. Want to see how they link up. I know it's the first match with Bony but would be nice to see if they are at least on the same wavelength.
Good showing from the lads and all the new guys are making a contribution. Jonjo looks really at home. Great pass for the goal and his short passing is sharp and accurate- off target with a couple of long balls, though. I like his energy and he's really covering the pitch. Pablo also looking good. A couple of tricky runs looked dangerous and he played a sublime pass to, I think, Rangel, where he just slid the ball through a couple of defenders taking them right out of the game. All in all, an encouraging and comfortable half where 2-0 wouldn't have flattered us. Liking the extra edge that Canas and Jonjo are giving us.
