Jacksonville Jaguars chief Shahid Khan becomes the new owner of Fulham after buying the club from Mohamed Al Fayed. (BBC website). Anyone want to buy a statue of Michael Jackson?
Frightening times, but hopefully our new Chairman can at least match the ambitions of Tony Fernandes in terms of transfer targets ie Matthew Upson, Richard Dunne and Wayne Bridge It's almost as if you're building a team to compete in the Premier League 10 years ago...
I have seen him in a few porn films,(not mine film but my mates) or is he cheech out of cheech and chong, quite scary having a new owner, al fayed has done an amazing job 13 years in the prem, the 8th longest serving team in the prem, and we were a poor man brentford when he took over
I was thinking exactly the same thing when I saw his photo! please log in to view this image please log in to view this image also Khalid Sheikh Mohammed please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Al Fayed can have few critics among Fulham fans (apart from that statue), but frankly I'd have a statue of Anthea Turner outside LR if we get the support from Fernandes that Al Fayed has afforded The Cottagers
Fulham will be hoping they can do better than the Jaguars did in the AFC last season, they were worse than QPR in the Premier League and they are doing so poorly attendance-wise he was considering moving the franchise, maybe you'll end up with the Foolham Jaguars!...
Al Fayed has been brilliant for Fulham, whatever people think of him as a person he has undoubtedly been a fantastic football chairman. I don't know too much about Khan, but American owners (sorry to generalise) don't have a good record of ownership in the PL. I just hope it works out for Fulham, they deserve a top owner.
