I shudder to think what the Rangers fans would get up to if Scotland were to play them:(

Morning call. Call me cynical but with the recent suspensions of Mohamed bin Hammam and Jack Warner, who both have stood against Sepp Blatter for the presidency of FIFA, will England, Scotland and the fifteen other nations who voted against him be similarly sidelined?

I don't see a World Cup Final in England in my lifetime.

    Morning All,

Project survival, day one completed and into day two now.

Don't think that they know the meaning of time for bed.

Off on the bread run now as it is a bank holiday and the baker will shut at mid-day.

With a Thursday holiday everyone will take Friday off as well. Last night the roads were packed and what should have been a six hour drive for my son-in-law as he came down from Brussels, took him eleven hours. <yikes> He was going to be here for dinner, but arrived after midnight.

At least he didn't attack my Bordeaux at that time of night.;)

Morning all . Zen your probably right , the only option is a breakaway fifa If England and Spain were to jump ship a lot would follow (the 2 supposed best leagues in europe anyway)and would probably be backed by the USspecial relationship politically) and Australia( coz they`re the ones that have been wronged the most).

morning all! Disasterous so far...i woke up early, pottered about and headed, in the glorious sunshine, to my first lesson, to find no answer at the door, and a mum arriving back from dropping my pupil at his work experience! i could have had a lie-in! poop!

Aw bugger ,Never mind hon Do you still bill them for a late cancellation! Here if given less than 24 hours notice you would have to pay %50 of the fee!

Morning all - I guess H that charging the cancellation could cause a person to get the hump and switch to someone else -so yor's is probbly good business practice for a first offence :)

In Norway you have to have a minimum of I think its 33 or 36 lessons before you can take your test , This will cost at best over £5000!!!
and they still cant bloody drive safely!

They were talking of doing a minimum here, but instead it's a recommended 45 hours...it's rare to have that many lessons however.

Right...off to see if the next one is around! lol

    Thanks Leonardo :)...laters taters!

    Morning all

Packing about to begin. Taking your own car seems to be an excuse for taking everything under the sun. My suggestion that a 1500 page French dcitionary might detrimentally affect petrol consumption was not taken seriously!

Góðan daginn til allra. Cappuccino, coffee, tea and donuts are on the bar.

Frothy cappuccinos for al Leon and W_Y
Coffees for COYH, Frenchie, Kev, rob and theo
    Strong coffee for Sandy
    Milky coffee for Yorkie
Strong black coffees for Bragi Norway and zen
    Tea for jsybaz
    Coffee and cake for Minx
    Caramel latte for Hornette
    A chocolate monster for BBW
And a redwine for NZ as he is so ahead of us in time

Late start today. The Pirates of the Caribbean film was not as good as the first and second but was a lot better than the third. Frú and Little Ak enjoyed it. For me the best piece was Penélope Cruz. The story was good but was squashed by the big scenes being too big and over worked.
