Looks like he is only willing to take a pay cut to 2.8 million euros a year. So why are we being linked with him?

 

i think only because Bruce signed him on loan at Sunderland

 

Obviously he is the forgiving type, this report is from 2008 (Bruce at Wigan), Three years later he signed him again (Bruce at Sunderland).

 

Bendtner is full of his own importance, I would worry he would upset the dressing room, as there is a togetherness there at present, and this doesn't want to be disrupted.

 

I'd think that SB will be keeping that important factor in mind - keen as he must be to bring in a striker...

Might be a bit cold in Hull for him. He would probably have to wear 3 pairs of gloves (in summer).

 

I've always rated Taarabt, a season long loan would be really good business as we currently have just Koren as back up for Aluko.

The Sun and The Sunday People both reporting that we're in for Troy Deeney.

Would be happy with a Deeney-Aluko partnership. Bring in Ashley Barnes as back-up to, as he has a decent strike-rate, and would act as our 'Le Fondre' (who is probably too expensive to bring in as back up himself).

Would still like my 1 man campaign for us to sign Leonardo Ulloa become reality though.

Prefer the 'buy the best of the championship' route than the 'buy the likes of Bendtner' route.

 

Interesting; Pogrebnyak has said he'd rather stay in the Premier League than go back to Russia. I'd take him if his dream was worth no more than £30k a week. He struggled in a ****e Reading team last year but I thought he looked awesome when playing for Fulham.
