Someone mentioned this online, and Saints Head of Communications Jim Lucas has asked what this is about. Someone has provided him with the video. Fans telling him to forward it to Cortese. Ooh err. DTLW
With all that's happened to Pompey in recent years, I'm not surprised they think Pompey shirts are unlucky.
What a dinlo. Just done himself out of a job. Never got this "burying a team shirt/scarf" in another club's stadium or wherever. Is it supposed to jinx the place or show some sort of weird "superiority"? How do you do that by hiding something? Oh well, will give the knuckle draggers something to be proud of down the M27. I expect they'll erect a statue to themselves in honour of this major achievement.
I can see how it would be tempting to do that but putting the video on Youtube? Stupid. Sacked in the morning...
You do wonder if someone that daft would do something more serious. Perhaps we need to get every contractor to swear allegiance on a Saints programme. Or throw them in a pond and see if they float.
The Pompey shirt has a lot of white stains on it doesn't it? Think he got a bit too overexcited at the thought of his prank. Or he's just another Pompey ****er.
I don't get it either, apparently there's a Pompey shirt somewhere under the pitch at St Mary's. which has clearly brought us terrible luck.......
Well I can see how someone might find it amusing to hide a Pompey shirt there, but obviously the idea that it's a jinx or whatever is total bollocks.
Anyone fancy planting a saints shirt in their TESCO? Someone who accidentally bought the home shirt this season maybe.
I wouldn't remove it, just leave it to rot away and make that wall the back of the urinal so our guys can piss all over Pompey daily.
If you hate us that much **** off and go build your own training ground. Oh yeah I remember you couldn't afford to pay king Edwards school to train on there ground anymore.
