Never thought i would see the day that someone put up a Men They Couldn't Hang video on here! I've seen them 47 times.
They've already announced their 30th anniversary gig for April next year. Easter Saturday unfortunately so probably won't be able to make it I love ghosts of cable street - they headlined an anti fascist gig in 1988 at the electric ballroom and called it Cable Street Beat- brilliant night.
I had been aware of them for a while but never given them a go until fairly recently. It was that tune that got me though. Music that means something.
I watched a couple in my local when I went over for a visit. Strangely more enjoyable than watching it in a bar over here. I just watched a you tube of the men they couldn't hang doing the green fields of France.... Not the best but it'll grow on me.
All went smoothly then, no trouble at all, no one was in any danger, nothing to see here, move along.
Aye, we should all move our families there for one big harmonious existence. This smack epidemic is out of control and my non-existent children are almost addicts
Maybe one day Jiffy. I dream of the future where Glaswegians live a carefree and pleasant existence in the metaphorical Bonfire glow of tolerance that would surely follow if we were to create communities where your religion is never a factor - because you know all your neighbours are of the same Religious sect.
So do I, Dev. If the rest of this depressing and forsaken planet could just take the time to learn a few lessons from the united, peaceful, well-educated country that is Northern Ireland, I'd think there'd be no more wars, religious division or general crime. As you say, Glasgow itself needs to really start appreciating just how forward-thinking Northern Ireland and its peoples are, otherwise we'll be riddled by smack addiction and atrocious exam results for the rest of our days
See in england though we also celebrate with bonfires burning the catholic guy fawkes and celebrating his death and failed attempt on prody james.. I want to move away
Aye but that's because England's full of barely educated morons. If you idiots would take a trip to NI, you'd soon unite under one flag Right now though, i'm just far too smacked off my tits to care
