I hope it does too. I've not really got any influence in the meeting though, its between a local authority and the board, I'm just there to answer the technical questions

 

What are the possible outcomes?

We need to get some funding before 30 September otherwise we close. If the local authority could give us some money for the short term to help us survive whilst searching for more funding it extends that date. Depends how much they are prepared to give us as to how long the 'short term' is but £10k would see us here until February (seven rather than two months to get money in).

Also discussing work we can do on their behalf which we would get paid for. This would help us become more sustainable. We are 57% self-sustaining now so we do generate a fair chunk of cash already.

Went well and opened a few eyes. Got another meeting on Monday afternoon and again on Tuesday afternoon

 

More specific please. 'Went well' = got the money? 'More meetings' = not got the money yet but think we will?

 

Does it mean you are going to be out of work if you cannot get funding?.

The future work that would help us become more sustainable went well too but thats not going to happen overnight.
