Nice to get a wedding invitation on the day of our first home game of the season. FFS don't some people have any manners !! Cant get out of it so will have to give the game a miss. Do the club still buy back matches of your season card ?
My girlfriend's sister's wedding was on May the 4th - the day of the Cardiff game. Know your pain sir!
I'm at my sons wedding on August 29, 2015 I said if City are at home, its just one of those things, City comes first, stream it on the internet I might watch it, seen one wedding seen them all.
I have 3 weddings to attend over the course of the season, none have fallen on home matches. I struckucky with that.
Vital match. If we can beat teams like norwich who will be in and around the relegation spots we should be okay.
Yep, also at a wedding that day , then go on my jollies the day after for a couple of weeks, but thankfully don't miss any more home games until the Xmas period
Got invited to my brothers wedding during last season. 3pm in Hull . City playing at home.. Of course i went to the game.. My brother shouldn't have picked such a stupid time on a Saturday afternoon.
Unlucky. You could pull a sicky though. Wake up with food poisoning on the day and then sneak off to the game.
Get married on a Friday, book the honeymoon departure on the Sunday/Monday, leaving Saturdays free to go to the match
Quite obvious who wears the trousers in that relationship. A man should have big enough balls to say "Listen love, when you plan the wedding with your delightful bridesmaids and mother just make sure it is not in the football season - otherwise half our guests don't want to be here. and if you put it in the football season we aren't getting married my little sugary petal"
Late May and early August are also available for the PL years. Balls to the wall attitude but so very true.
