  2. Their? I think you will find thats what the rumours said. Whether it was BRs choice I don't know but he certainly isn't mine. However, I also realise it is highly unlikely we'll get who I want...Eriksen!

Where will Liverpool end up this season then? You've gone from 8th to 7th ...so maybe this season you'll continue the stellar progress and finish 6th

  4. Thats the hope <laugh>

Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea are the top three. Arsenal and Spurs are both in a better position then us too. Everton have changed manager so may drop a little. I think we need to challenge for top four but I'd be happy with an improved position...ie sixth.

Where do you think you'll finish if you don't get quality replacements for Suarez if (when) he leaves?

    #105
  6. About the same. Coutinho is Suarez's replacement and as hard as Luis works for the team, he's not a team player imo

Only seen him a few times, but the 8million you paid for Coutinho looks a real steal. He's shown that he has the ability to become potentially one of the best players in the world in a few years time, but does he have the goalscoring ability that Suarez has? Can't see Aspas chipping in with 25+ goals this season for you.

  8. The goalscoring is the question, he might get double figures but I can't see Coutinho chipping in with 20. However, we need a goalscorer anyway because we can't be relying on Sturridge IMO. I believe BR is doing the right things in trying to spread the goals around the squad / team, it prevents being over reliant on one player such as Suarez.

What do you recon Brenda's minimum target is this year? Surely another non European qualifying season will see him gone? I would argue without CL he may be under pressure (you can concentrate on the Prem this year, so that would be an advantage)

    PS dont ban me ;)

Ah, I see, they were in order from 1-8. I thought they were randomly thrown up. My sincere apologies to you Dai.

I suppose our point was that you chose a safe 8.
