    Tate - Legend
Kemy- potential but issues and not just driving
Moore - casual or lazy enigma
Lita - well, his nicknames not Litre for nowt

Unfortunately it will be the most hard working , loyal and versatile of the four that will probably get the worst transfer.

    Cheers Tatey, gutted your going

I feel sorry for Tate as he's been such a loyal servant to the club but it's for the best. If he wants to play regular first team football he needs to move. With Agustien I always got the impression he was a bit of a nutter. A shame because he has talent! Moore I was most surprised by as he did a job of sorts for us last season, but obviously Laudrup deployed him as he had no one better to play! Lita is obviously no surprise as he hasn't featured at all! I always thought he did well for us when he did play. I think he scored a couple didn't he, now that Bony has signed he might as well go and work at Rossi's!

On another note, I'm delighted ML is supposedly giving Jazz a chance!

I'd forgotten about Situ. Would love to hear about him if anyone has news. Wasn't he bought as youth with potential?

Also, I've always had the feeling that De Guzmam could go a bit off the rails like Kemy. Maybe that's why Laudrup is separating them.

Gutted for Tate but there's no sentiment in football.Nice guy and a 100% Jack .It was ironic that the chance he had in playing in the PL was taken from him by a fluke accident .

He had incredible potential at the time we bought him, he had won everything captaining the French youth teams from u15s upwards, he was putting in good performances for Lens in Ligue1 (when selected.).... and was amazing in Football Manager ;)

Unfortunately with the bungled transfer where the paperwork wasn't processed in time it meant that he couldn't go back to Lens and he couldn't play in any English games....basically he had to sit on the sidelines for nearly 8 months I think. At the start of last season he was finding his feet in the reserves (although fans that saw him weren't impressed) when he got a nasty achilles injury in October that ruled him out until...well basically about now...

Basically he's been incredibly unlucky and I can't help feeling we've stalled the progress of one of Europe's most promising centre backs (at least he was until he joined us...)

I would like to see Tate retire and be given a coaching role somewhere in the background possibly with the youngsters. He could be a good role model and teach them all about hard work, deduction and loyalty.

To be fair, it was solely FIFA that stopped the transfer. All other parties agreed. He was also only sidelined for 4 months because of this and was training with us...not really stalling his career as he would not have started in the Prem. He can still come good, and then we can dig out his song at long last :D

    Chim, chimmery...

He won't retire at this stage as he's still got something to give for another 2-3 years yet. But like trunds I hope he will get something back at our club, he has being a good servant to our club since the dark days

With all our Prem money, cant we just pay him to walk around CCS with his flag on matchdays?

yes tate should not retire yet as he has plenty to offer, some fans underestimate tate in his capabilities, OK he is not the best but you know he will give 100% and put his body on the line and he is as loyal as any jack anywhere. He will always be a legend to the fans and like others i would like to see him come back after his playing days in some capacity at the club....He would walk into the cardiff side but even he has a line that he wont cross so i hope he gets a good championship club at the very least.......We as fans must make sure that the club gives him a testimonial when we can fit it in which wont be till the end of the season or in between one of our international breaks as if anyone deserves one its him....

This would indicate to me that Donnelly is making the 25 man senior roster.

Tate has been here 2 yrs longer than he should have been anyway,so no need to feel sorry for him drawing prem wages in that time. In terms of giving 100% and putting his body on the line, well that's the least we expect from a professional player.

I'm not sure if he can get a job at the club after he finishes, the swans don't owe anyone a living when their playing days are over. I think him and monk have already secured contracts on sentiment so keeping jobs for them afterwards will need to be well thought out, sometimes it's not possible and I would prefer us to employ the best person for any job not the person that was liked because he got on with people.

That's just my view and the board are better placed to decide who to employ, monk IMO will be kept on with the club not Tate.

Alan did an awesome job and stepped it up as the club progressed through the leagues but the prem is too far for his ability.

Kemy IMO will have to go down as a bad signing,he flattered to deceive from day 1 and never gave any 90 min performances since arriving. He has undoubted talent but probably thinks that talent alone was enough..it wasn't ! A touch of the big time charlies with him maybe?

Lita did ok when played under Rodgers and would have scored 6-10 goals if he had shectors playing time, again I feel his lifestyle was a deciding factor and laudrup is just not into that type of footballer/waster.

Moore, well you all know I have sung his praises for a while, a great technical player and maybe a bit unlucky to get shafted considering his limited but valuable contribution last season, I know he was very well respected and liked by the other players but I guess laudrup just doesn't see the need to carry somebody that perhaps lacks the motivation to become a number 1 striker, laudrup is a good judge of a player IMO and it also lightens the wage bill.

I wish every player all the best, they have all played a massive part in our history and will always be treated with kindness by the jack faithful I reckon, they haven't done anything wrong here really it's just that we have moved on from these types of players.

They have my total respect for all the times they have battled and performed for our team,I wish them all the best for the future. <ok>

interesting comments NJ. It seems that there is a change of culture at the Liberty with little room for sentiment. It wasn't that way under Roberto or Brendan - even though we were progressing and stepping up to another level.Which brings me to my question - what will happen when Michael leaves? We saw QPR buy a team of individuals and have no team spirit or loyalty and we saw where it got them. Given that we don't even have their financial backing - what happens when Michael leaves? The best part of the Swansea story has been the Cinderalla feature and the fact that it's always been a family club - based on loyalty from the club and people like Monk and Tate - which allowed such players to really perform better than their potential - that's the reason that pretty much every player who leaves fails. It's not just about the style of play, it's about the atmosphere it's about the enjoyment of being part of something - thing about our own workplaces - it's the same.
I was watching Brendan with the players in training and there was no doubt that everyone at Llandarcy was enjoying themselves- the atmosphere oozed confidence and involvement.
We are now going to have half the team for whom English is a second language at best and we're going into Europe - a new adventure - seems unfotunately similar to the Toon last year.
I think this could be the most exciting season ever for Swans and Swans fans but I can't help but feel that we are about to lose some of our uniqueness.

    :emoticon-0148-yes:

Whether we like it or not , there are small subtle changes taken place and some not for the good imo .Hopefully the changes wouldn't be as drastic to an extent that the players are alienated from the fans and more importantly the club it's self .Because of our size and location most people can say they 'know' someone at the club and the likely hood of meeting/seeing players out of "hours" will continue .I believe the players we have atm have bought into what the club are trying to achieve and that will continue for as long as we keep our feet on the ground and not forget where we've come from .

Lumber I think players have failed elsewhere specifically because our style of play.

What happens when laudrup goes? I think we are talking about dead wood to any new manager that walks in regarding the 4 mentioned above so it's one less job for them to do really.

The core still looks strong anyway
I would see these players staying here after laudrup

    Monk
    Taylor
    Davies
    Britton
    Rangel
    Routs
    Shelvey
    Tremmel
    Dyer
    Ash

If the last two don't decide to leave this summer

There is also nothing to suggest a mass exodus of laudrups players anyway, it remains to be seen if michu will repeat last seasons form and the others were good but not unbelievable ! JDG is the only one nailed on for me.

Who is to say the next manager isn't somebody along the lines of bergkamp? Or an equally high profile?

Basically there is not much point in worrying too much about what will happen in the future, look what we lost when Rodgers left,

    Allen
    Sinclair
    Gilfi
    Caulker

That was half a team, and we managed perfectly well without them! ;)
