Like someone else said earlier, the lad just didn't seem to fit in with the squad. We don't know the reasons, but he always looked unhappy & somewhat alone. Hope the move helps him, but I also trust that we got some of our investment back.
I think you're probably correct in some respects. However, he did say he had a good 6 months at Saints, but perhaps that is covering over the odd crack. Never mind the speculation, he's gone back to Molde, presumably to resume a promising career.
My brother says he has some pics smashed out of his face in a cab last saturday. Was the team back at training then?
Maybe why Forren was sold then? He shared a cab with a guy my brother knows and Forren gave the guy the money for the cab fare.
Someone on Twitter earlier said he had serious drinking problems, I dunno how true it is cause anyone could make that up but maybe there's some truth behind it?

Simon Peach has found out that Molde paid us £1.75m for Vegard Forren. In January we paid £3.5m for him.
Meh. I suppose we look a bit silly but it's been relatively low profile and he's no Ali Dia. Most clubs have a few dodgy transfers and at least we've cut our losses. Bebe springs to mind as a much worse signing.
We don't look silly getting rid of him. I said that was a good thing. I'd say we DO look a bit silly for agreeing to spend what at the time was our… 4th? 5th? highest ever transfer fee on a player who wasn't good enough to make a single appearance. Most clubs have a few dodgy transfers though. Man Utd look a bit silly for paying £8m (or whatever it was) for Bebe.
I'm not sure we can say he *clearly* has a problem Beefy. Could easily just be that he's not up to the job.
