Now that would be genius. Heskey and Owen reunited, who could resist? <ok>

Nah he's resigned and is now residing somewhere in a South American rainforest in an attempt to discover a cure for male pattern baldness!

We'll have to get the new lad, the one who did the CL final. I'm sure he could have disallowed a couple of those Barca goals and sent Xavi off for passing the ball in a dangerous manner. Fergie, Fergie sign him up! <ok>

Modric + Sneidjer? What planet are you living? Thats about 70m right there and not forgetting our 18m deal for de Gea and likely 8m deal for Verane. That is 95m!!! Where an earth is this cash going to come from? I can't see a central midfielder joining and sadly I can see Young joining.

Young is no worse than Nani.

Nani is miles better than Young. Hes in a whole different league. Young is a pub player compared to him.

If we sign Young its an expensive reserve.

Disagree. Nani goes missing in a lot of games. He also dives too much and while he can play LW or RW, so can Young as well as the 2nd striker.

Nani is miles better. Honestly think you are the only person on earth to think otherwise.

As for Nani diving, bar 2 against Liverpool last season find me some more. He doesnt dive. He play acts yes but diving? Nope. Hes got it all but out of his game.

Nani can play as a second striker btw, he can also lead the line in emergencies due to his pace, shooting ability and skill. He almost never does but has played the role for both Portugal and United on occasion.

Hes more consistant than Young aswell. Young is consistently average.

I'm not saying Young is better than Nani, but I do believe he is no worse. He has fallen away in his performances over the last season but when playing confidently he is a good player who does score goals and creates chances.

Since the turn of the year Constcrepe Nani has created 8 goals in the league which is still high for a player out of form? Young is average and can't start for England which is quite frankly embarrassing. He just has 14 apps for England and 1 goal and most of those are off the bench. Nani is 24 and has 45 apps and 9 goals and 19 assists for Portugal and competes with the likes of Ronaldo, Quresma, Simou and Danny for a wide birth and starts every game. To even compare Young to Nani is shocking and quite frankly stupid.

Nani is a good player but I feel he didn't really start to fulfil his potential until last season. Remember Mike Phelan said "I think Nani’s now, as they say, the penny may have dropped a little bit. He started to show the real Nani that we knew we had.”

This was over 3 years after Man Utd paid €25.5 million for his services. Quite a long time to only start fulfilling your potential. Young again signed in 2007 but found his feet a lot faster than Nani and has scored more goals for Villa than Nani has for Utd. Look I'm not looking for Nani to be shown the door. He is a good player but I do believe that Young if signed would only strengthen the squad due to his versatility.
