    I do know I thought it would be quick negotiations when the fee was agreed on the 21st June.

    Wonderfully confident and almost arrogance from Pochettino with the media over this deal.

    "We decide when we complete transfers" - last weeks press conference

    "We could of completed this transfer sooner but shows we do things on our terms" - today(quotes not exact)

    Delighted with this signing and offers a real alternative to the rest of the squad

    I love that. They may moan a little from time to time, but Liverpool do seem to have some of the most knowledgeable fans in terms of having an appreciation outside of their own club. Long may they be right (on that thread!)
