Has anyone seen this on channel 4, a call to prayer for muslims?..


Channel 4 is broadcasting the adhan, the Muslim call to prayer, live every morning during Ramadan. The broadcaster says it aims to reflect Britain's diversity over the month-long period of fasting during daylight hours, which is observed by many Muslims. Channel 4 says this is a 'deliberate provocation' to anyone who associates Islam with extremism.

Well. If they dont start playing Church Bells every Sunday morning I'll complain in the strongest terms...If I could be arsed, which I cant.

Like Alton Towers having a muslim only day, I will never go in that place again unless they have a non-muslim day to even it up. I'm sick of the British people not being priority and making way for minoritys.

 

Don't understand how it's crazy, if there are enough people in the country who would benefit from something like this it's great. Can't really be worse than Songs of Praise.

I didn't know there were people who were actually this bigoted, I thought it was just a caricature. Oh well, back to transfer news for me then.

 

It hasn't gone tits up, I just voiced my opinion. I don't like Muslims, I don't like Romanians, I don't like gypsies. No benefits at all to them being in the country. Just my opinion like.

 

Why don't you like muslims? Is it their religion, their culture, their language? Do you like muslims born in the UK? Because that's a hell of a lot of people that you don't like, a quarter of the Earth's population...
