i will be sad to see him go it would be nice if we could accomadate him in are improving side he is still a valuable member of our squad IMO
He has to stay for me, regardless of whoever we are bringing in we cannot afford to loose our best playmaker, loosing Mig was bad enough, so I hope he stays and plays a big part next season.
This shouldn't even be up for debate. For years now Sess has been to good for us, if the truths known. Now we seem to have quality players at his level, I think we will see the proper Sess on a consistent basis.
If he's happy to be a squad player, then yes. Will he want to be a squad player? Not sure. will anyone pay 6/7m? Maybe/maybe not. would I be overly upset If he went, not really. Suppose if we can get better for similar money, let him go, if not may as well keep him. Indecisive? Not sure.
Look at the poll votes, its utter madness to even start this thread. You may as well start a thread with a poll for "Should we Breath?" Yes/No
Resounding, and quite ****ing right. With increased quality around him reducing his workload, Sessegnon could be an utter beast for us next year.
I see I am very much in the minority, but Sess irritates the hell out of me. Yes, he can be superb when on his game, but far to often he flatters to deceive and drives me up the bloody wall with his lack of vision and awareness.
If we dont need to sell to balance Shorts books then absolutely keep him. If all we are likely to get is £5m or £6m then there is little value in selling him. He can on his day be explosive, if extremely frustrating too. However, the one caviat I would add to keeping him is he would not be an automatic first choice and I'd use him in certain games or from the bench as an impact sub. I think there are more effective players being sought to play his role far better. We have proper strikers and wingers in place now and if Huddlestone comes, he is a far better playmaker/passer behind the strikers, who can open up a defence with one great ball. What an amazing player to have to come on for 30 mins, or be used in a rotational policy for certain games?
Can't see the wood for the trees why would you want rid of our most talented player.the only way IMO is if our manager thinks he doesn't fit into his plans.then he knows best.
I know exactly what you mean but think with better quality players around him he's more likely to develop and understanding and not look so irritating. Him and Giaccherini in one midfield blows my mind and that's forgetting AJ, Cabral, N'Diaye et al.
Me too mate but I'd keep him as a back up as the money we would get back wouldnt be that much now anyway? What a great sub to bring on for a 20 or 30 min cameo (which is what he is good at imo)
