    find the Forren call baffling but then havn't seen enough of him to argue with it really. Would rather have a £4m rated current international knocking around the place than Fonte or Hoiveld but then maybe we have someone else lined p (god knows we've been linked with enough centre backs!). Any ideas what the proposed fee we got for him was?

    Pleased Chaplow has found himself a championship club. Always liked him.

    Make of it what you will but a rumour is another player( don't know who) is possibly being signed for double our transfer record today,maybe DTLW can shed some light on this or poo poo it and say its not true.
    Not heard a rumour from this person before so don't know if widly wide of the mark or not.

    Well that would be £25m now, so that seems unlikely. If there is any truth in it it can surely only be Damiao.

    Other than the fact that he is Argentinian, has there been any reason to suggest that he is a genuine target. It would certainly be a statement of intent.

    A friend at work seems to think 3 signings in the next 2 days, obviously Wanyama and Shaw but not a clue or heard anything of a third. Certainly not anything close to being wrapped up.

    Yes come from this person originaly but apparently he has been right a couple of times before so some people not writing it off completely never even heard of this person myself as I don't go to saints web.
    I shall dismiss it personally now......roll on close of window it's doing me head in :)
