Double for Mark Johnston at Newmarket today with Universal and Maputo, both won their races comfortably. Maputo should turn out to be Group race class in time.
The spurs obviously help Well done Maputo backers, that's me done for the day. I'm off to collect my first time contact lenses .................................. I'm assured they will help me to read form and judge races

I got Maputo given as a tip this morning when I got into work, a friend had been talking to Mrs Johnston at the Yorkshire Show and she said Maputo was expected to win today. I think everyone and their dog went out at lunch to put it on, Coral must have wondered what chuff was going on! Unfortunately I work in a place where phones aren't allowed so couldn't share the info on here so apologies for that but well done to those who did back it

Santadelacruze 13/2 in the 8:10 Bath I think its definitely capable of winning a race like this. Still a maiden but am still surprised that the price is what it is and would be very surprised to see it out of the top 3 so decent size EW on this for me
