I've had a home in London for almost thirty years and I'm aware of two stabbings. One was the owner of a newsagents in Kilburn, who was stabbed while my business partner was in the shop(he survived). The other was the owner of an off-license who sadly died, my mate had the flat over the shop(his Herald Vitesse got torched outside the shop too).

I have seen people who carry a knife many times. It happens in most cities. It is a sad fact of life that some people feel the need to carry them.

I have lived in Gospel Oak, Hampstead Garden Suburb, between Wandsworth and Clapham Commons, Raynes Park, Southfields and, finally, between Wimbledon and Mitcham (for the last 13 years) and it was only in the last place that two people have been stabbed to death in separate incidents within a few hundred yards of my house but I still haven't seen anybody carrying knives.

I'm sure I've seen people who carry a knife many times. I just haven't seen the knives.

I went Crouch End, Finsbury Park, Woodgreen, Tooting Bec, Clapham South, Wembley. The first was the best place, the last was the worst, but Clapham was the place I most enjoyed living.

I suppose it depends what stage you were in your life cycle! I liked Gospel Oak because Hampstead Heath was nearby and it was easy to get a bus home any time after the tube stopped. It was even near enough to walk from central London. Later Clapham South was my local tube and Clapham Junction was my local BR station and I liked living there as well.

I'm just saying that I don't think we should go for left overs. We should go for a young player that scouts have sniffed out. Bruce has a good track record for that but for some reason he doesn't seem to wanna go look far abroad. I know there are risks but when you see that Bruce brought it Valencia and Palacios I reckon we should try again, they tend to be profit makers also.

I am guessing some of you are keen on home grown players which is totally fair but for some reason I'd rather we expand, get foreigners, gather more fans (like Egyptians), get the world to know our club more. I don't think you achieve that with Irish and British players. But that's just me.

I mean **** most south americans are better than Championship players and a lot of them cope well with PL (if we were still in Championship I would agree that foreigners usually struggle)

I would expect us to be one of a few suitors in the loan market. Same with Bent.
