I've my ticket got. My cousin is a ST holder and he is away that weekend. I can also stay in his house but would prefer staying with the group.
Realistically, we won't have too much time before the match but it would be nice to meet up maybe at 12.30 ish for a chat and a few scoops before the match. If Pat and Deon could attend it would be great. We could have a minutes silence for our comrade and then make a toast to his memory.
There will always be some who can't come back again after the match. It would be great if we could all make the effort and meet up again after the match and have a bit of grub and a sing song. Somewhere quiet that serves dinner would be nice. We can always pull the plug later that night before the tubes stop!!!
I haven't booked my flights yet as I'm waiting to see if people want to meet again after the match. If people are willing to hang around then I'll stay the night. If people have no interest then I will take the last flight back that night.
The last meet up was great but all a bit rushed. Somewhere a bit quieter where we could sit down would be ideal, especially after the match. I'd love to pick flyers brain and discuss all things bream with DT. I'm also going to beat Col in pool and the forfeit will be for him to wear a Norwich jersey for the evening.

That sounds great Nutso. I'm happy with what you propose, especially Col wearing the Norwich top. Brilliant. What we will need to do is find a suitable venue far from the madding crowd as it were. Maybe somewhere in Hammersmith ( unless Fulham are also at home ) where it will be a bit more civil but still within easy reach of LR. I also know a lot of our overseas R's stay in that area when they're over for games. Of course if anyone else has a better idea then great. We still have a lot of time before we decide.

Unusually for me I am able to stay after the game, so I'm up for that as well as meeting up beforehand.

Nuts..............I will not, under any circumstances wear a ****ing Norwich top!!

No firm thoughts, I'm still hoping for some suggestions........

We'd probably need to ascertain approximate numbers though before picking a venue

I hope to make it of course and look forward to meeting anybody and everybody. Nuts I am now a Barbel man as just caught a fourteen pounder ... I am not going to Muckno this year maybe i will get back into matches and Irish tournaments next year. Plenty of options in Westfield for post match meal ... Pre drinks in the pub followed by a nice meal out sounds great. We would not need Snooker or anything IMO ... just talking is fine

I will suggest the Crown & Sceptre Roller for a pre-match pint. We have a "spy in the camp" so to speak in Mortlake and they done us proud the last time by reserving an area for us. I am sure they would do the same again. Mortlake, if you read, please can you confirm if it's possible, thanks. The food is decent and it isn't too much of a hike to the ground.

Afterwards, somewhere away from the madding crowd would be nice for a meal and a chat. Maybe a social club that can do hot food or a reasonably priced restaurant or something like that??? In these economic times, I am sure there are many business's that would appreciate our business.

The Crown & Sceptre would be an apt place as that was where a number of us meet up with Brixton for what became the last time, but from the number of people who have expressed an interest in coming, I'm not sure it will be big enough mate. I know that they also have a "private" area out in the garden, but then we are gambling on the weather.

I'll put up a thread later to try to gauge numbers as I'm also trying to get the box office to secure a group of seats together for us.
