For all my negativity and pessimism, I've never called for any manager to be sacked. It's not in my nature. However, I fail to see the point in winning promotion if it serves no purpose other than to line the pockets of the players, manager and owners. Surely, having missed out on one of two confirmed targets, you would pursue the other at all costs (for want of a better phrase)?
I think we will go straight back down, but am happy about the way the allams are going about the business and we will be able to come up again.
