How many of these players will start the first game of this new season ? I'm guessing 3. O'shea, Johnson and N'diaye. We have Fletcher to come back from injury and hopefully Sess will still be with us so thats 5 current players at the club, so I reckon we will have 6 new players in the team against Fulham. Can that work ?
Pre-season will be key this time round. Not only will be have new players training together for longer than we're used too, but they'll also be much fitter than previous seasons. After Hong Kong and Portugal (is this confirmed yet), we should have an idea about how we will set-up and play.
Is Sess available for the 1st game? Not sure if he served all his match ban before the end of last season. Colback, Wickham and Larrson could be in with a shout, depending on performances in the pre-season
You know that post has given me hope, I thought we had lost to many players in a paper thin squad, however if we signed 6 (can't keep up) we have only lost one of that starting eleven, and still have fletch, sess and catts (as it stands) to come back we looking decent,
