I love Stephen Stills in most if not all of the combos he was involved with, and solo. With Manassas, Pensiamento (? Spelling) and So Many Times are just beautiful. Sorry cant do links. Ever seen the footage from Celebration at Big Sur I think when he was getting a very hard time from a heckler about wearing a fur coat? He really let it get to him and nobody seemed to back him up. Sad.
I m a big Stephen stills fan - have you heard/got " just roll tape " ? ... just him and an acoustic guitar late one night demoing some songs that would later appear on various albums....ruddy marvellous
