    Not necessarily. I'm relying on the recruitment team to snuff out a truffle nobodys heard of. I'm prepared to cry after that <laugh>. If we have midfielders or substandard fullbacks starting the season at fullback I will be absolutely mortified. :(

    it wont im sure , this new set up is top notch ,i dont think there is anyway we will not have players in place come the kick off.
    forget rose , if it happens it will be after a bidding frenzy with loads of clubs in the chase for him

    I would say that Colback is much better defensively than Gardner - I would never say give Gardner the number 2 shirt. To me Colback is excellent defensively with a good engine to get forward. I'm not sure what else you would look for in a full back? Anyways, this may be a pointless debate. Sky Sports News have said that Colback has rejected a contract extension - not sure if this means he wants to move on or just not happy with an extended deal?
