Spoke to my mate earlier, but he's still on holiday. He goes back tomorrow, so we may get some stuff after that.
First LFC player of Indian origin. The owners and PR team will love that fact. The free kick in the video on your link is spot on awesome. Very nice. I assume he is English. He looks good but lets wait and see.
Xabi Alonso has ruled out making a return to Liverpool this summer. The Spain international has one year left on his contract with Real Madrid and has been strongly linked with a move back to Anfield. With Jose Mourinho leaving the club, reports in Spain suggested that Alonso was considering his future and would relish the chance to head back to Merseyside. But the 31-year-old midfielder has put an end to that speculation by insisting he wants to fight for his place under new Bernabeu boss Carlo Ancelotti. Alonso said: "The Premier League? No. No way, no chance. My future is at Real Madrid."
Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld is one of a number of defenders on Brendan Rodgers shopping list this summer. The 24-year-old versatile Belgium international stopper, who can operate in the centre or on the right side of defence, is a wanted man with a host of top European sides after him. Both Spurs and, most recently, Norwich from the Premier League have expressed an interest. Despite the strong Premier League links, it is being reported that German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen are leading the race to secure his signature should he decide to leave Amsterdam. The Reds have been after new central defenders since the close of last season following the departure of Jamie Carragher. They are also after full-backs and have been on the trail of both Lille starlet Lucas Digne and Valencia full-back Aly Cissokho. Source: ClubCall
Jose Mourinho is weighing up a move for Liverpool target Tiago Ilori. The Reds have been negotiating with the the central defender's club, Sporting Lisbon, for several weeks. Liverpool have had two bids rejected for Ilori who is valued by Sporting at around £8.5million. They could now see their efforts hijacked by Chelsea although the player is understood to want regular first-team football which could work in Liverpool's favour. Talented Ilori has a Portuguese mother and a Nigerian father. Spanish club Valencia have shown interest but the player wants to move to the Premier League. Meanwhile Liverpool could be set to make a move for £7.5million-rated midfielder Jorginho. The 21-year-old creative midfielder - full name Jorge Luiz Frello Filho - plays for Serie A club Hellas Verona and has represented Italy at Under-21 level. Jorginho was born in Brazil but has lived for most of his life in Italy and has opted to play for the Azzurri at international level. The player is a product of his club's youth academy and has one cap for the Italy Under-21 side. Source: Daily Mirror
