I think that you missed the whole point. There are many anonymous quotes. A quote has no true or false. The source may be wrong, but that doesn't invalidate it's content. The point being made is that most Arsenal supporters did not start supporting Arsenal because they won trophies. The quote stated that point in a succinct way. It doesn't matter who said it. Your quote of "Wenger is a twat and I've always secretly admired Spurs." doesn't support any point you are trying to make, or say anything. It is just gibberish. If he did say it, what are you trying to say with it?

I think you have missed the point. Yes my Henry 'quote' was gibberish and has no meaning to it. That is irrelevant. The point is that anybody can make up a quote and pretend it is real, as according to PISKIE, if the person the quote is credited to does not deny it then there is a possibility it is true. So even though my Henry 'quote' is a load of gibberish with no meaning to it, maybe he said it. I mean, he never denied that he said it. Right?

Yes, I accept there is a possibility they are true. However, as their is no credible source attributed to them then the likelihood is they are false; As per with everything else in football that has no credible source.
So you must now admit that when you said the "Bergkamp & trophies" was fake you could well be wrong and that the quote is in fact true
