I honestly believe everyone should be able to choose. If a prisoner chooses to stop eating to hasten his demise it's their choice.
It seems a bit cruel that we'd allow prisoners to die at their own hand but we don't allow aged and eternally suffering people like ER to get euthanised at a clinic.

I was just thinking that. It's interesting that the US goes into all these countries in the name of freedom and democracy and then picks up a load of people who may or may not have been combatants then locks them up and throws away the key on the flimsiest of evidence and more often than not without any trial. Land of the Free? If you're a white christian maybe but otherwise forget it.......
