Morning all, another hot day ahead. <cool> Need to get things done by middle of the day as there will be a four or five hour period when the best idea is to stay in and keep cool.

Two beautiful days in a row here.

Shorts, hat and flip-flops rescued from the cupboard. Sun tan cream to hand. No Wimbledon final to watch.

A comfortable seat in the garden is summoning me...

Just heard my second wife's mother has died suddenly. Quite a shock. She was such a resilient character...raised in Bernardos, separated from her siblings, losing her only daughter to cancer. I shall miss her humour and resilience. RIP, Rene.

Sad news Theo. We think people like that are there forever. It is a shock when they are not. My thoughts are with you.

Always a sad time, Theo - probably best to crack open a bottle in her name, it sounds as though she deserves at least one to be drunk in her memory.

    A. Colleague at work said Andy Murray ' s win was equivalent toI England winning the World Cup in 1966.

    I was speechless.

Morning from a very warm and sticky Romford.

What a lovely day to be laid back in a chair having a tooth yanked out and a filling done.
God, what an exciting life I lead <yikes>

Apologies in advance if you hear the yells and screams around the M25. It just means I've bitten down on the dentist's hand

Morning all, another scorcher in prospect today. Think I will retire to the shade this afternoon and watch people on bicycles trying to do a spot of sightseeing round northwest France. <cool>
