I thought they had basically signed him? Really dont understand the Suarez bid, a feeble £30m is nowhere near his valuation and he wants to go abroad. Other than a ploy to annoy Madrid, it just doesn't make sense. I also thought Arsenal were going to have made several big signings by now, just the usual French player so far.

Its an attempt to keep the fans happy in trying to make them believe they are actually making moves for these types of players. Its what they've been demanding for years.

Benteke hands in transfer request. Personally, I think Lukaku is the better player, but that's my opinion ofc.
Neither do IMO but considering BR likes players to be able to play in more than one position, I'd say Lakuku was the better fit
Lukaku is god awful lazy, good player when he wants to play though, but only as a striker. Benteke has played across the front 3 at Villa. Doubt we will get him though, looks set for Tottenham imo.
I think they are both lazy but can both turn it on when they want too. However, IMO, Lakuku can cause damage when not playing well, I'm not sure the same can be said about Benteke. If they had he work ethic of a Suarez, Rooney or Tevez then they would both be extremely good players
