Would be a great signing. Pace, scores goals and a decent crosser.

    We need a good winger.

Sky suspended betting on Suarez to Arsenal last week, and if that happens you can have my car.

Sinclair would be a very good signing for you lot, seems more than plausible as well.

The statement “We are unaware of those bets, I don’t know where that information has come from, so I can’t say much more.” seems to particularly avoid denying interest in the player. How difficult would it be to say "we are not looking to sign Scott Sinclair at the present moment" or words to that effect. Instead we are given "Has someone been placing bets on us signing Scott Sinclair? Fancy that. No further comment.".

Add to that, people have been tweeting Lee Ryder all day asking if he can add anything to the rumours - he has not replied. Previously he's been pretty fast in getting a response from the club when refuting groundless rumours. I'm going to keep hoping on this one.

Think you guys have a kind of false sense about this guy. He was class for us in the championship, absolutely class, but got found out majorly in the premiership.
He scored goals for us, I think it was 4 pens and two from open play in the prem but don't quote me on that.
The biggest difference though was his ability to run with the ball. In the championship he would constantly leave people for dead before taking a shot at goal. Coming up against better defenders though he was hardly ever able to beat his man, then his many flaws came to light. He can't pass for ****e, his touch is appalling - if a defender gets tight to him he is painfully ineffective. He also disappears for long spells of the game. He done this in the championship aswell but would then suddenly pop up with a goal from nothing so you could forgive him for it. In the prem though it was very frustrating.
He was also undroppable by our manager. There were constant cries from large parts of the crowd to drop Sinclair and play Routledge, but with Rodgers bringing him to the club he must have just felt the need to always play him.

I'm not just saying this Because he is not our player anymore, he more or less single handedly promoted us so I will always thank him for that and wish him no ill will. But in the prem he was a crushing disappointment. If you can be arsed, go read our threads for when it started to emerge that man city were in for him. It's disbelief more than anything that they would be interested in a player that to us seemed like such a premiership flop. When we heard on 6.2m there was little debate from our posters, just a quick 'yes sell' and see who else we can get!

If you guys do buy him then I will wish him all the best at your club also, I just wouldn't get your hopes up too high if I were you, he is a very average player in this league.

Age 24, been round the block on loan.
One half decent season in PL.

    Head bigger than his talent.
    Average at best.

All of their heads tend to get turned when they get paid so much more than the man on the street.

They tend to forget that it's the man on the street that helps to pay their salary.

Sounds like Jonas but with the ability to add a goal now and again. Can he cross well?

Thought he was better than the Swansea lad made out, but he's the expert. To be fair, the manager watches him in training and he got nowhere near the City 1st eleven (consistently), so maybe there's some truth in the comments. Worried now he's more Obertan than Giggs...

I still think Redmond and Ince were better options money wise. Surprised we haven't shown much interest in either. Hughton is doing a tidy little job there at Norwich. Van Wolfswinkel and Redmond is exciting stuff.

well hes a right footed player and we played him on the left so I dont think it would be really fair to judge him on his crossing with that. He is the typical selfish winger (can be very good but other times very frustrating) in that he will always look to cut in and get a shot away - hence why we played him on the left.
Im sure you would be able to find something on youtube of his goals in the championship, they all have one recurring theme, run at the man, cut inside and get a shot away. Prem defenders done the homework and once this was cut out he was very ineffective for us.

Not sure the Brummy crowd rate Redmond as highly. Unusual for such a "talent" to only command a fee of £2m. Smells a bit like Ravel Morrison.

RvW was a strange one - couldn't understand how a lad with that record would end up at Norwich? No disrespect, and maybe he just believes that once he's in the money league, a big move will follow soon after.

Benteke transfer request - here's hoping Chelsea decide he's the one for them and Lukaku takes offence. We can't get Benteke, but Lukaku would be a steal.

Tom Ince talking to Cardiff. Cannot see us parting with £8m, so guess David Craig was wide of the mark with that one.
