Being reported on sky that hull and fulham are interested in our axed skipper for 2 mill. Has it even been announced that hes been dropped as captain? For the price being reported i would keep him, hes still got a load of football in him and if we can keep him fit could be a massive player for ud

I dont think its dead that one, progressing behind the scenes or closer than we think if catts out of the door is a possibilty

For me...Catts has been a liability at times. The times he has been sent off and cost us points or has been booked in the first few minutes and then becomes ineffective in the game. I would cut our losses and get rid. The lad lacks basic discipline

But how many times throughout the season did we look alot sharper, more commanding and confident with him in the middle of the park? If we had had him in the middle for the majority of the games, I think we would have done alot better... and still had MoN, and no PDC and this behind the scenes revolution....

I've not seen one reliable piece of evidence that Catts is for sale. Not one Report has shown any source or quotation. Every article I've read has been incredibly poor. Has anybody read one that looks like there's any truth in the story?

    Still don't know who'd sign a very unfit/injured player.

Yip......if we are looking to go for pace and fit players. Take the money and then dump the black and white top and mask :bandit:

I`m inclined to say get rid.
He picks up more points than he earns for the team.
He may be a good player when he`s on the field but doesn`t spend enough time on the pitch to earn his wages.
Injuries may not be his fault but suspensions are.

I'd have rid to get the £40,000-45,000 off the weekly wage bill.

I'd have thought him, Brown and O'Shea are on similar money and AJ is on slightly more. Just speculation mind.

The Times says £32,240 basic - £55,900 with bonuses (which he won't have achieved)

How many then? I have seen him be effective in games far more than I've seen him he ineffective. He doesn't lack discipline. He lacks the ability to change his name. He got booked against west ham for winning the ball only 3 minutes after a west ham player got a yellow card for a 2 footed tackle.

Fully fit (and this is the only issue with him for me) he's one of the first players I'd pick. People saying "he's on top dollar"?? So what? He's worth it WHEN FIT.

Lazy journalism for me but keep him if we can get him fit. If not then get rid. Not worth spending £30k (if that's what he's on) on a crock
