    I'm getting really fed up with the drama queens coming on this forum crying about what a crap transfer window we are going to have before it has even happened, especially as in goes against strong evidence that we are being very active and ambitious (Cabaye, Gameiro, Gervinho to name but a few).

    Chill out and show some faith. If at the end of august you turn out to be correct feel free to have a go at me if you want, but for ****s sake stop this endless doom mongering it is boring!

    There is little point in people coming on here unless they offer their opinion. I agree things do sound encouraging, however you can hardly blame people that are losing faith.

    Losing faith at what exactly? The season has been finished for about two weeks and the next window hasn't even opened yet. Yet we have pretty muched tied up and impressive transfer already (Cabaye) and have been very heavily linked with others.

    I'm complaining about people who are moaning without cause based on unfounded guess work or because they can't see past their own hatred of MA enough to judge the facts of the current situation.

    I am also entitled to give my opinion on their views and I just have.

    You wouldn't have seen an expression on my face; nobody with sense thought Kuqi was "Carroll's replacement", he was a body to fill the bench since the window had shut. Ashley has done a lot of ****, obviously, but a lot of the (legitimate) complaints supporters have with him have nothing to do with cutting costs. Just as I said on here in January, once August has arrived and we can see how money has been spent, then we can determine the intentions of the Carroll sale.

    I reckon Redknapp might take a punt on Joey, didn't he bid for him whilst still at Pompey? Barton'll probably go to Everton, he himself said they wanted him. On the plus side we should get about £6m each for them which can go towards replacing them. <ok>

    On a more serious note, I agree that all MA is doing is replacing players.

    I really can't understand why anyone would have any suspicions about Uncle Mikes intentions towards the club that he loves. He's never done anything stupid or illegal before so let's just all sit back and wait for the Champions League fixtures to include Newcastle United...<ok>
